Crispi Summit - Review by Guide Ty Mcfarland

Recently, I was looking for a supportive (but not rigid) lightweight, breathable boot. One with an aggressive tread for warm weather sheep hunting in the mountains of the Sonoran Desert. I reached out to a friend Kendall Card (owner of Blackovis.com and Crispi dealer) for solid advice from a gear junkie whose opinions have helped me on many other hunts. I have been a Meindl guy for several years so when he suggested the Summit Boot made by Crispi I was a bit skeptical. I recognized the name but wasn't familiar with the brand.

Crispi Summit Boots

The advice was spot on. I haven't had them long, but so far they are exactly what I was hoping for. No hot spots, true fit, quiet, they flex and move with me up and down the hills, great traction in loose rock, zero cactus issues, and the break in went nearly unnoticed.

As a professional hunting guide it is imperative that I be equipped with dependable gear. Being strapped to my feet means long days in rough country for months each year. The Summit boot from Crispi meets my demands. It performed flawlessly on this Desert Sheep hunt and I would recommend it to anyone.
